The Program of Helps to Projects of Social Initiatives of Obra Social La Caixa has awarded the social project to fight poverty and the inclusion of the Cordoban Watercolor Foundation of Barrios. The project called 'Andactan bareos', from the Romanian 'together we grow', has been awarded 15.000 euros in the category of social transformation.

Last year 70% of those who participated were of Romanian origin. This year, although fewer are from Romania, the majority of immigrants are still the majority. The initiative has five lines of intervention to working with minors at risk of exclusion: school accompaniment, a sports project, socio-educational workshop (crafts), psychological intervention and volunteering.

For Franco Furniture this has been a source of joy and great satisfaction given our involvement with the Pintura de Barrios foundation founded by Ana Franco, a member of this family. From here we encourage anyone who can collaborate with this foundation that does so much good for these boys and girls.
